As a therapist I see myself as a guide—walking with you through whatever life has brought you, and will continue to bring. You deserve to know yourself well, and to move towards peace. My goal is to offer an environment where you can take an honest look at who you are and your circumstances, while providing empathy and a chance to be heard. I kindly challenge harmful ways of thinking and suggest new avenues for growth. In my practice, the client is in charge. We only go where you want to go, when you want to go there.
I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I am a certified grief educator and most of my experience is working with grief, anxiety, depression, spiritual issues, and trauma. My previous work includes walking alongside immigrants and refugees from around the world, people facing domestic violence, and in hospice care providing support to the dying and bereaved. This work has given me a breadth of experience that has prepared me to join you along your journey.
I believe that when we show up for ourselves, healing takes place. You’re brave for exploring counseling and I am excited to work together.
